Meet Dr. Lesli Rowell

Dr. Rowell brings a multifaceted background spanning clinical practice, academic leadership, and corporate consulting. She has over 20 years of individual counseling and psychological evaluations across various institutions. Her early career included securing research funding from H&H Publishing and UT Austin, conducting psychological evaluations at Harris County Forensics, and leading local and state seminars on crisis intervention, educational technologies, and personnel training. Her organizational consulting began with projects for the City of College Station, the Bush School of Government, and the San Antonio School District, later expanding to Accenture, where she developed personnel training platforms for oil and gas operations in Africa. She also spearheaded the Texas expansion of a California-based grocery chain’s beverage division. 

Dr. Rowell currently specializes in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations. Her academic career includes teaching college education courses, Introductory Psychology, and guest lecturing in Applied Statistics and Abnormal Psychology. She served as an Admissions Counselor at Texas A&M University, a Career Advisor at the Arthur Andersen Career Center, and Counseling Department Chair / LPC Supervisor for Houston City College’s Distance Learning Department - where her expertise earned her the Chancellor's highest executive leadership award across all seven colleges. 

 

Outside of her practice, Dr. Rowell loves traveling and playing board games with her children. She also dedicates time to grief and trauma recovery, volunteering and fundraising for local schools, Texas Children’s Pediatric Cancer, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. A passionate lifelong athlete, her background ranges from junior tennis and Baylor women’s rugby to nationally ranked padel. When she's not in her office, you'll most often find her on a pickleball court.
